Juno Beach Recognized As One Of The Most Active Sea Turtle Nesting Beaches In The World

Founded over 30 years ago by long-time Juno Beach resident Eleanor Fletcher, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach is a non-profit education and conservation facility located on the Atlantic Ocean in Palm Beach County, Florida. Their mission is to promote conservation of ocean ecosystems with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles. The 12,000 square foot certified “green” facility houses a variety of exhibits, including live sea turtles, salt water aquarium, and displays of other local wildlife and coastal creatures. The center hosts field trips, outreach programs, summer camps, and birthday parties. Loggerhead is also the only sea turtle hospital between Orlando and the Florida Keys. Registration is now open for June and July guided turtle walks along the beach, to learn about and observe the egg laying and hatching process. Register here for this unforgettable experience!
