The Seminole Inn, famous for their Sunday brunch, has a long history in Indiantown. Built by Chicago railroad entrepreneur, Mr. Warfield, the uncle of Wallis Simpson, who famously married the heir to the British throne, and caused him to abdicate. It was quite the scandal at the time. You can read all about it in the lobby and halls of the hotel. The hotel itself feels like “old Florida,” with a parrot in the lobby, a beautiful garden and colorful wall murals upstairs, which feature the history of the Seminole Indians in Florida. The hotel is open for lunch only, from 11:00 until 2:00, offering a buffet as well as a varied menu.
