Palm Beach GardensBefore development, Palm Beach Gardens was primarily cattle farms and pine forests. Wealthy developer John D. MacArthur chose the name Palm Beach Gardens. As late as 1960, Palm Beach Gardens only had one resident, a squatter whom MacArthur allowed to stay on the land. Rapid development began in the 1960s and continued through the 1970s and 1980s. The completion of The Gardens Mall brought a new influx of residents in 1988. Palm Beach Gardens was hit hard with deep freezes and hurricanes but has continued to persevere and flourish with new upscale shopping centers and significant Golf tournaments being held each year, bringing in thousands of tourists for both.

Palm Beach Gardens is home to the world class PGA spa and the Gardens Mall, as well as Downtown at The Gardens, for your shopping and dining pleasure. As with many of the beautiful coastal Florida towns, you’ll find marinas, boating, sandy beaches, MacArthur State Park with its boardwalk through the mangrove preserves, lots of kid friendly activities, kayaking and canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving and golf. The Gardens is 15 minutes from Palm Beach International Airport, making it a great location for pleasure travelers and business executives alike!

Every kind of housing is available in Palm Beach Gardens. Luxurious gated
high end communities, quaint ranch homes, secure condominium high rises, waterfront beauties, townhomes, or right Downtown in the heart of the city living residences, the Gardens has it all.
